David Toogood is an Education and Resourcing officer for the Pulse Team at Uniting Education and Mission – working on training leaders and young people to lead across the spectrum of the Uniting Church in NSW/ACT Synod. When not at work he loves hiking, music, and cooking plant-based food.

The Adult Jesus we encounter in Mark was a busy person – but he
still had a need to find a quiet space to experience silence.

Using times of silence gives an opportunity to have deep and life giving connections with the Divine God and our inner being.
