Garry is a Uniting Church Minister in active retirement, having served congregations in the Riverina, Central West, Northwest Sydney and as a Chaplain with Uniting Communities. With his wife Christine, they have 12 grandchildren in Newcastle, Sydney, Darwin and Des Moines Iowa, and love spending time with them. He likes gardening. He is on Church Council at Adamstown UCA in the NSW/ACT Synod, where the church is developing an open and relational congregation, growing in numbers with younger age profile.
Jesus travelled light – stripped away all that was not necessary.
