19th January 2025 (Year C – Epiphany 2) “Water Into Wine”
In John’s Gospel Jesus’ public ministry begins at a wedding…where he turns water into wine.
Is wine a metaphor for grace…abundant and wondrously good? Jesus was after all, full of grace.
Signs point to God’s abundant provision, all that we need, more than we need, GRACE.
ALL AGE MESSAGE
In some ways the Church is not unlike a Family. Everyone is needed to play their part for functionality to occur.
Different people have different talents that they can contribute and all are needed.
God gives us gifts through the Holy Spirit, he sustains us to use those gifts.
