8th November, 2026 (Year A – Pentecost 24) “When the Night is Long”
Copyright Free Bible Image – Youtube
Waiting can be difficult. Christian hope does not pretend that the night is not dark, it asks us if we can still trust that the dawn is coming.
Readiness is learning to live now in the light of the future God has promised.
Faithful waiting is to keep trusting, to keep choosing, to keep hoping – even when the night is long.
INTER-GENERATIONAL TALK
Children learn from others by watching them do things, Mum – baking, Dad – gardening etc.
Psalm 78 says God’s people are meant to tell the next generation about what God has done.
As we learn from each other, we all have something worth passing on.
