Love is not something that needs to wear labels. When we are involved we are doing it in the spirit of Jesus. We are testifying to God’s love never ending. Love never fails. Love cannot be put to death. God’s love in Jesus remains

Peter makes a speech in this part of Acts telling people to ‘Listen”. Easter events have bought a transformation for all who believe and is the start of a new age. This transformation is for people’s lives – God’s Spirit is a gift for all.
Easter breaks down racial and cultural barriers and all are included in ‘The Lord has Risen’. In Matthew’s gospel the women become the ‘apostles’ to the Apostle , Women are included in the ‘all people’ to go and tell of the coming of this new event that is now happening.
The 2 disciples acted on what they were asked to do This provided the means for Jesus to claim unique kingship over Jerusalem and the world. We never know how God will use our obedience.
Lent is a time we need to prepare for the 40 day journey which is ahead of us. Pay attention to ourselves and our surroundings, leave some things behind and become more open to God and his Spirit.
We are reminded that our mission is to be shaping and being good news for our neighbours according to their hurts and hopes.We are called to be prophets now, joining God in the neighborhood and not to be following our own agendas.
The ‘Rough stuff’ in our lives matters to God God is interested in what is happening in our souls now and wants to help us deal with distractions that separate us from wholesome lives.
Scholars of non-violence, say it only takes 2% of the population to make a change in society. How we live our lives can bring out the best in our community.
