This parable is a well known story of the Good Shepherd who was prepared to lay down his life for his sheep to keep them safe.

The sheep knew the voice of their shepherd – as sheep do we know and hear the voice of Jesus and God?

This story is talking about a reckless love for his sheep – a matter of life and death. We need to listen.

ALL AGE MESSAGE

We all fall short of doing and saying the right thing all of the time.

Jesus was the Shepherd who guarded the sheep by being the entrance to their secure pen so they could not be harmed (see message).

We need Jesus, to help us to be close to God and then be more able to do what He wants us to do in our daily lives.
