God lovingly created the world, filling it with beauty and life—from stars to animals to people—and entrusted humans to care for it.
The story of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein illustrates how people often take from nature without giving back, mirroring how we sometimes treat God’s creation.
The reflection concludes with a call to live in unity with creation and with God, showing care and
responsibility for the world we’ve been given.
