For her and Jesus to be in conversation challenges the status quo and breaks 2 taboos.

The only water she knows is Drinking Water…Jesus offers “Living Water” – the Holy Spirit and eternal life.

It is surprising what a rock a rock can do?  Moses found that out when God told him to hit one.

The Israelites received water to stop their thirst and the animals got a share too.

Maybe we are reminded to look to God for help when we don’t know what to do?
