 NAIDOC Week was recently celebrated. The Uniting Church has a long history of working with the First Peoples.

We are called to take the yoke upon ourselves as a nation, to ensure First peoples will have a Voice.

Through the Spirit we are called to live in new ways with justice and truth.

At a recent MIssion Fest at Adamstown Uniting Church, Nathan Tyson spoke on the Voice referendum. Adam is Director, of First Peoples Strategy and Engagement within the NSW Synod. You may care to watch the video of his presentation by clicking on the link below

Made up names (nicknames) can be helpful to describe someone. They can be hurtful too.

They are another way of sometimes describing a persons character like, Peter, ‘The Rock”,  Jesus “My Friend”.
